RidRed Return & Refund Policy
At RidRed, we want every customer to enjoy a seamless shopping experience. If your purchase doesn’t meet expectations, our return and refund process is designed to be simple, fair, and worry-free.
Return Window
- 30 Days Standard Returns: Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in original, unused condition.
- Exceptions:
- 7 Days: Digital products not downloaded or used.
- 15 Days: Selected branded products (e.g., Apple) and RidRed Haul items priced above $3. Items below $3 are non-returnable.
- 90 Days: Select renewed products, most nonperishable baby items, mattresses (excluding crib mattresses).
- 180 Days: Items purchased as part of RidRed Wedding Registry by someone other than the registry owner.
- 365 Days: Premium renewed products and Baby Registry items purchased by others.
Non-Returnable Items
Some products are final sale and cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
- Perishable goods
- Customized or personalized products
- Products posing health or safety risks once opened
- Pharmacy and pet medication products
- Redeemable products (gift cards, digital codes)
- Automobiles
If a non-returnable item arrives damaged or defective, please contact RidRed Customer Service.
Initiating a Return
- Log into your RidRed account.
- Go to Your Orders and select Return Items.
- Follow the provided instructions and choose your preferred return option.
Most returns do not require original packaging boxes or labels. However, items must include all tags, manuals, and accessories where applicable.
Refund Process & Timeline
Refunds will be issued once RidRed receives and inspects the returned item. Processing time may take up to 30 days.
Refund timelines by method:
- 2–3 hours: RidRed Store Credit or Gift Balance
- 3–5 business days: Credit Card
- Up to 10 business days: Debit Card, Checking Account, EBT Card, Cash (participating locations)
- Up to 30 days: Prepaid credit card (depending on issuer)
Note: Promotional certificates are non-refundable.
Return Fees
Most returns are free. However, fees may apply in certain cases:
- Return Shipping Fee: For heavy, bulky, or non-free return shipping methods.
- Late Returns: 20% of item price for first 30 days past the due date, 100% thereafter.
- Damage Fees: Up to 50% if returned used, missing parts, or not in original condition.
- Restocking Fee: 100% for opened software, video games, collectible items, or cards.
Heavy & Bulky Items
Items weighing 50 lbs or more, or with large dimensions, may incur additional return shipping fees or require scheduled pickup.
Gifts & Bundles
- Gifts: Returns require the 17-digit order number found on the packing slip or digital receipt.
- Bundles: Items purchased in bundles must be returned together for a full refund.
Important Notes
- Please erase personal data before returning electronic items.
- RidRed reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of misuse, excessive return activity, or fraud.
- Certain returns may require additional verification (e.g., government-issued ID).
- Once an item is returned to RidRed, it cannot be sent back to the customer.
